Cybertrol offers complete network services. No matter the state of a facility, we can bring it up to current technology with our structured upgrade approach.

Cybertrol provides these network services and equipment:

  • Site network assessments
  • Network upgrade planning
  • Contractor bid specifications
  • Contractor bid drawings
  • Network design
  • Network cabinets (patch panels, switches, UPS)

Best Practices: Cybertrol follows industry best practices including the Converged Plantwide Ethernet (CPwE) Design and Implementation Guide put together by Rockwell and Cisco. These standards include developing redundant highly available networks and creating logical separation between different areas and zones, when applicable.

Availability: Whenever possible, most network designs are built in such a way that there is no single point of failover. At the core of an IDC are redundant connections to all computer and storage resources. At the plant network level, multiple redundant topologies (Ring, Redundant Star) are utilized.

At the core of the data center, everything is set up redundantly.

  • Each physical host server has redundant connections to each switch
  • Connections are grouped to optimize performance
  • Designed to tolerate failure of NIC cards on server, either switch or physical cabling

Remote Support: The ability to remotely support and proactively monitor networks allows Cybertrol to stay on top of issues at plants and address them, often before they cause any impact.

Cybertrol stays up to date on training curriculums and has multiple Cisco Certified Industrial Networking Specialists on staff.
