Programming Standards – Meet with the customer and complete standards for the project to provide a seamless look and feel across the Operator Interfaces and the code structure 'under the hood'.
Early development of Functional Specifications that flesh out all of the detail from the high level functional descriptions, along with detailed reviews of the P&ID drawings.
Detailed review and early decisions regarding network architecture for the system.
Detailed review and early consensus regarding the computer architecture and software to be implemented on the project.
Review of the MCC requirements to insure compatibility with the control requirements for the project.
Design reviews at key points in the project.
Continuous, open communication.
