Cybertrol Engineering was founded in 1996 with the intent to establish a premier control and information systems integrator, a cohesive team of the industries’ best engineers.

 

Since its inception, Cybertrol Engineering has been involved in over 3000 projects in over 450 client locations across the US, Mexico, and Canada and extending to Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. These projects have encompassed a wide variety of applications and a broad range of industries.

Brief history:

  • 1996 – Cybertrol founded by Dan Scott & Merlin Graunke, Cybertrol acquires Design-Rite
  • 1997 – Cybertrol moved to new 10,000 sq ft building 
  • 1999 – Cybertrol completes major greenfield facility plant-wide automation system with 15 PLC’s and 22 HMI’s
  • 2005 – Cybertrol Expands building space to 15,000 sq ft
  • 2007 – Ben Durbin named President of Cybertrol
  • 2009 – Cybertrol completes virtualized plant-wide data center server system 
  • 2011 – Cybertrol completes plant-wide control and information system for largest ice cream plant in the world.  System sized at 18,000 IO points with 72 HMI’s and 32 virtualized servers.
  • 2012 – Cybertrol moves into newly remodeled 20,000 sq. ft space
  • 2013 – Cybertrol named Rockwell Automation Solution Partner
  • 2014 – Dan Scott and Merlin Graunke retire, become consultants to Cybertrol
  • 2015 – Cybertrol named Star Tribune Top Workplace
